This MTN internet trick involves the use of Psiphon Pro Lite VPN and it works better on MTN 4G SIM. It is also called the MTN Data Reset cheat. Below are the settings for Android phones and tablets.
1. Download Psiphon Handler
2. Launch and tweak your PSIPHON HANDLER Settings as follows:
Check Remove port box
Proxy type: Dual Real Host
Proxy server: datareset.mtnonline.com/#Xstring
Real proxy type: HTTP
Real proxy port: 80
3. Navigate to OPTIONS and select the UNITED STATES as your region.
4. Then tap on MORE OPTIONS, under CONNECT THROUGH HTTP, and enter 10.199.212.2 as the Host address and 8080 as the Port.
Then click on the connect button. You can start browsing for free.
