How can I add notice on my forum Mybb - Shedi - 02-18-2025
In MyBB, you can add a notice to your forum using the built-in Board Message feature or by manually adding a custom notice via templates. Here’s how:
Method 1: Using MyBB's Built-in Board Message
Log in to your MyBB Admin Control Panel (ACP).
Navigate to Configuration > Board Settings > Board Message (or search for "Board Message").
Enable the board message and enter the notice content.
Click Save Settings to apply changes.
Method 2: Using MyBB’s Announcements Feature
Go to Admin CP > Forums & Posts > Announcements.
Click Add New Announcement.
Choose the forum where the notice should appear (or set it to "All Forums").
Enter your Title and Message.
Set a start and end date if necessary.
Click Save Announcement.
Method 3: Adding a Notice via Templates
In Admin CP, go to Templates & Style > Templates.
Choose your active theme and look for the header template (e.g., header_welcomeblock_member or header_welcomeblock_guest).
Add this code at the top:
